Independent company, Vital Salon on Corporation Street in Taunton, has been recognised as a stellar example of new British business after securing a finalist place in HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019.
The Independent Salon Business - Newcomer of the Year award, sponsored by Salon International, recognises the top six British hairdressing entrepreneurs who have made their business dream a reality and launched a successful salon. The category is open to owners of newly established independent salons which are less than two years old.
Nick Martin who runs Vital Salon impressed a host of industry judges with his business plan, and how aims and objectives translated into evidenced success after the company’s inception.
Commenting on the announcement, Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards said; “To be named as a finalist in the Independent Salon - Business Newcomer of the Year category confirms just how exceptional the mind behind Vital Salon is. Nick has crafted an amazing business from scratch. That truly is a mark of incredible entrepreneurial flair.
